With our wholly own Konica Minolta publication scanner, DDPSI offers conversion services of large-sized books, artwork, ledgers, and other bound materials. With the large scanning surface, we are able to digitize documents up to 17" x 23-2/8", especially oversized bound volumes. As a standard feature, the Minolta totes an adjustable cradle that provides gentle, stress-free support to the spine of book volumes. Scanning occurs at only 4-1/2 seconds per page for 8-1/2" x 11" originals and the results are clean, crisp images with up to 400-dpi resolution. Other standard features include automatic compensation for curvature of pages, automatic edge detection, and automatic image cropping to achieve clean and professional-looking image results. The resulting image outputs scan directly to a printer or PC, with a single button.
